What kids do

“Everyone has an invisible bubble around them. How big is yours?”

  1. Draw yourself in your bubble
  2. How close is comfy?
  3. If someone is too close, I can say…

How to run it

  • Use a hula hoop to show a space bubble.
  • Everyone’s bubble can be a different size, and that’s okay.
  • Practice a kind “Please give me some space.”

Talk about it

  • Does your bubble change when you’re tired or upset?
  • How can you tell someone needs more space?
  • Where is it hard to keep your bubble?

Take it further

Walk in line without popping anyone’s bubble.
