These four sheets are a little different from the tracing and step-by-step pages I usually share. There is nothing to copy. Each one gives you a single Christmas outline inside a snowy frame, and the job is to finish it: patterns, faces, toys, icing, whatever the artist dreams up. That makes them a good fit for mixed ages, from a three-year-old with a fat crayon to a ten-year-old who wants to design the fanciest stocking in the house.
Choose a Christmas Activity Sheet

Design Your Stocking
An empty stocking with a fluffy cuff. Give it a pattern, write a name across the top, then fill it with the toys you hope to find on Christmas morning.

Decorate the Tree
A bare three-layer tree on a stand. Add ornaments, lights and a star, then pile presents underneath. A tree with only candy ornaments is allowed.

Give the Snowman a Face
A round snowman head under a very tall top hat, still waiting for a face. Happy, sleepy, surprised or a little grumpy? The artist decides.

Make a Gingerbread Person
A plain cookie shape fresh from the oven. Add a face, icing squiggles and buttons, then give your gingerbread person a name.

All four sheets also live in the free Christmas drawing tool on ChristmasActivityBooks.com. Pick a sheet, then use pens, a paint bucket and Christmas stickers with a mouse, a finger or a stylus. Nothing is uploaded; when the picture is finished you can save it or print it.
Ideas for the Art Table
Print a stack and let everyone choose. Siblings can each decorate the same tree and compare, or a whole class can make a wall of stockings, every one different.
- Stocking: ask what each toy is before it gets colored. Robot puppies and rocket sleds are welcome.
- Tree: try a theme. Only animals, only candy, or every ornament a different pattern.
- Snowman: print two and draw two moods. A grumpy snowman is always popular.
- Gingerbread person: make it someone you know. A gingerbread grandma, a gingerbread astronaut, a gingerbread you.
Print on US Letter paper and choose “Fit to page” if your printer needs a little room at the edges. Teachers are welcome to print copies for the whole class.
