Aliens, astronauts and cyborgs

How to draw aliens

Aliens can look like anything, which is exactly why kids love drawing them. Start with a silly alien in a few steps, then try an alien astronaut, a grey alien or a five-eyed alien cyborg. There are grid drawing and coloring pages for space fans too.

Questions about drawing aliens

How do you draw a simple alien?

Draw an oval or bean-shaped head, add big eyes (as many as you like), antennae and a small smile, then a little body. There are no rules for how an alien should look.

What is an alien cyborg?

A space creature that is part alien, part robot: think metal arms, screens and bolts on a friendly alien. The Alien Cyborgs books are full of them.

Which books have aliens to draw?

Silly Aliens and Alien Cyborgs, each as How to Draw, Trace Then Color and Draw by Grid books. Robot fans should see the robot drawings page too.

What age are the alien drawings for?

Kids about 5 and up. Aliens are a great free-choice drawing because kids can add as many eyes, arms and antennae as they like.

Are the alien drawing pages free?

Yes. Every lesson, printable and video on this page is free for home and classroom use.
