How the 12 weeks build

  • Weeks 1–3: tracing, coloring and shape games to warm up the hand.
  • Weeks 4–6: step-by-step drawing, one character at a time.
  • Weeks 7–9: a mix of lessons and themes.
  • Weeks 10–11: grid drawing for careful looking (ages 5 and up).
  • Week 12: favorite lessons and an art show.

Good to know

  • With three or more days a week, the last day is a creative day: free drawing, a story or a remix.
  • No lesson repeats in the 12 weeks unless you pick very few themes.
  • Nothing you type is saved or sent anywhere. The name only goes on your printout.
  • Want a full school year? Use the 36-week drawing curriculum.
