What kids do

“Everyone needs people to talk to. Who are yours?”

  1. My people (draw or write a name in each box)
  2. I would talk to … if I felt…

How to run it

  • Name school helpers kids might forget: counselor, nurse, librarian.
  • Every child should be able to name at least two grown-ups.
  • Follow up quietly with any child who struggles.

Talk about it

  • Who is easiest to talk to?
  • What makes someone a good listener?
  • Who could talk to you?

Take it further

Make a list of phone numbers with a grown-up at home.
