What kids do

“Spring is coming! What signs can you find outside?”

  1. I found…
  2. My best spring discovery
  3. How is it different from winter?

How to run it

  • Take clipboards on a short walk.
  • Look high (trees, birds) and low (bugs, sprouts).
  • Repeat in two weeks and compare.

Talk about it

  • What was the first sign you found?
  • What makes spring come?
  • What will you look for next time?

Take it further

Keep a spring journal for a week.
