Space activities for kids: aliens, rockets and planets

Rockets, planets and aliens: space is a theme where imagination and science meet.

By Kevin Coulston, cartoonist and author of the FirstArtBooks drawing books

Space activities let kids mix real science with pure imagination: draw rockets, astronauts and planets, learn a few facts about the solar system, then invent aliens who could live there. Drawing makes the facts memorable and gives every child a way to join in.
