Ocean activities for kids: drawing sea creatures

Fish, turtles, pufferfish and lobsters: the ocean is full of fun shapes to draw and facts to learn.

By Kevin Coulston, cartoonist and author of the FirstArtBooks drawing books

Ocean activities are a hit with kids because sea creatures come in amazing shapes and colors, and many are easy to draw. Draw fish, turtles, pufferfish and lobsters, learn a few facts about each, then build an ocean scene or an ocean zones poster. It’s art and science in one.
