What kids do

“Things leave our homes every day. Where do they end up?”

  1. Pick one to follow:
  2. Draw its trip, stop by stop
  3. What I’m sure about:
  4. What I still wonder:

How to run it

  • Let kids guess first, then look it up together or ask a grown-up who knows.
  • Arrows between the stops help show the direction.
  • It’s fine to leave a stop as a question mark.

Talk about it

  • Was the trip longer or shorter than you thought?
  • Who are the people who help along the way?
  • Does anything ever come back?

Take it further

Follow a second thing and compare the two trips.
