What kids do

“This turkey needs feathers! Fill each one with something you’re thankful for.”

  1. Each slice is a feather. Color it and fill it in!
  2. The feather I’m most thankful for:
  3. Someone I want to thank:

How to run it

  • Draw a turkey head and feet on the hub to finish it.
  • Little ones can draw instead of writing.
  • Cut them out to make a class turkey parade.

Talk about it

  • Was it hard to think of eight things?
  • Which feather is about a person?
  • How can you show thanks, not just say it?

Take it further

Make a thank-you card for the person on your favorite feather.
