What kids do

“Decorate the snowflake with patterns. Then write what makes you one of a kind.”

  1. Add your own patterns to every arm
  2. Things that make me unique
  3. What I like about how everyone is different:

How to run it

  • Real snowflakes have six arms that match.
  • Decorate all six arms the same way for symmetry.
  • Hang them together as a class snowstorm.

Talk about it

  • What makes your snowflake different?
  • Why is it good that people are different?
  • What do all the snowflakes share?

Take it further

Fold and cut a paper snowflake with six points.
