What kids do

“If you were an animal, what would you be? Draw yourself!”

  1. My animal self-portrait
  2. How we’re alike
  3. My animal is a…
  4. One thing about me that’s NOT like my animal:

How to run it

  • Keep something of yourself in it: your glasses, your hair color, your favorite shirt.
  • Use a how-to-draw animal page if kids want a starting point.
  • Hang them as a class zoo.

Talk about it

  • Did anyone pick the same animal for a different reason?
  • Which animal would your family pick for you?
  • Would you want to be that animal for a day?

Take it further

Draw a friend as the animal they’d pick.
