What kids do

“You just discovered a brand-new color! Tell the world about it.”

  1. All about my color
  2. Something painted in my color
  3. If everything were this color…

How to run it

  • Kids can mix crayons to show their color, or just describe it.
  • Names can be silly: “Glimmerblue” or “Sneezeberry”.
  • Play a guessing game: read the senses and guess the name.

Talk about it

  • What would your color be used for?
  • Which real color is it closest to?
  • Would it be warm or cool?

Take it further

Make a paint-chip card with three shades of your color.
