What kids do

“Draw a few lines across the star to make sections. Fill each section with its own pattern.”

  1. Split it up, then fill every part
  2. Patterns I used
  3. How did it feel to draw slowly?

How to run it

  • Draw three or four curvy lines across the star first.
  • Use a fine black pen or a sharp pencil.
  • This is a good calm-down sheet after recess.

Talk about it

  • Which pattern was the most relaxing?
  • Did any patterns touch and make something new?
  • Where else could you put patterns?

Take it further

Try it with your initial in big bubble letters.
