What kids do

“Sketch your collage first, then gather your scraps!”

  1. My collage plan
  2. Materials I will use:
  3. What changed when I built it?

How to run it

  • Keep a scrap box so kids have lots to choose from.
  • Tear paper for soft edges, cut it for sharp ones.
  • Glue big pieces first, then small details on top.

Talk about it

  • What material surprised you most?
  • Did your plan change? Why?
  • What makes collage different from drawing?
