What kids do

“Create the cast for your next story. Who will be the hero? The trickster?”

  1. My cast
  2. The two characters who would argue the most are… because…

How to run it

  • Traits are inside words: brave, nosy, grumpy, kind.
  • Encourage different kinds of characters, not six heroes.
  • Cut out the cards and use them to plan a story.

Talk about it

  • Who is your main character?
  • Who causes trouble?
  • Which two would be best friends?

Take it further

Pick two cards and write a scene where they meet.
