What kids do

“Kevin’s robot is made of shapes! Count them, then build your own character.”

  1. Find the shapes
  2. How many?
  3. My character made of shapes

How to run it

  • Trace the shapes in the robot with a finger first.
  • Have kids build with only 3 kinds of shapes.
  • Older kids can label each shape in their own character.

Talk about it

  • Which shape did you use the most?
  • What shape is a head? A wheel?
  • Could you build an animal from shapes?

Take it further

Cut shapes from paper and glue them into a character.
