What kids do

  1. Write a proud moment for each time.
  2. When I was little
  3. Draw your proudest moment.

Teacher tip

Ask families to help with the early proud moments.

How to use it

  • Model kind self-talk out loud when you make a mistake.
  • Use it for morning meeting once a week.
  • Use it during morning meeting or right after recess, when the topic is fresh.

Talk about it

  • What is something you are proud of?
  • How might someone else see it differently?
