What kids do

“This is the cover of your data folder. Fill it in and keep it at the front, then add your trackers behind it.”

Printed on the sheet:

  1. My goals this year
  2. Draw something you are proud of.

Teacher tip

Let kids decorate the cover so the folder feels like their own.

How to use it

  • Help each student pick one goal that is small and clear.
  • Check in on goals once a week at the same time.
  • Print it on colored paper so kids and helpers can spot it quickly.

Watch for

Kids comparing scores with each other. Keep the focus on beating your own best.

Talk about it

  • What will you try next?
  • What is one thing that went well this week?

Take it further

Share trackers at a student-led conference with families.
