What kids do

“Four tickets on a page. Cut them apart and hand one out at the end of a lesson.”

Printed on the sheet:

  1. 3 things I learned
  2. 2 interesting facts
  3. 1 question I have

Teacher tip

Use the one question kids still have to start the next lesson.

How to use it

  • Give the ticket in the last five minutes of the lesson.
  • Keep it short: one or two questions are enough.
  • Introduce the sheet once, model it, then make it part of a routine so kids know what to expect.

Watch for

Tickets collected but never used. Sort them the same day to plan tomorrow.

Talk about it

  • How sure are you about today’s lesson?
  • What is one thing that went well this week?

Take it further

Share a few anonymous answers the next day to start the lesson.

US Letter, prints well in black and white. Free for home and classroom use: print as many copies as you need.
