What kids do

“A bus plus a rocket? A bike plus a submarine? Build something wacky!”

  1. Vehicle 1:
  2. Vehicle 2:
  3. Draw your wacky vehicle with its driver
  4. Where it can go:
  5. Its coolest button does…

How to run it

  • List vehicles on the board: bus, boat, helicopter, scooter, train.
  • Ask what each half adds: wheels, wings, propellers.
  • Robots and dinosaurs make great drivers.

Talk about it

  • What can your vehicle do that neither one could do alone?
  • What would the dashboard look like?
  • Where would you go first?

Take it further

Draw a map of the route your vehicle takes.
