What kids do

“You are the hero. Now design your sidekick!”

  1. My sidekick in costume
  2. Sidekick facts
  3. How we help people together:

How to run it

  • Animals, food and objects all make great sidekicks.
  • A weakness makes a character more interesting: talk about why.
  • Catchphrases are a hit: share them out loud.

Talk about it

  • Why do heroes need sidekicks?
  • How do your powers fit together?
  • Who is a “sidekick” in your real life?

Take it further

Draw a three-box comic of the hero and sidekick saving the day.
