What kids do

“You’ve been an artist since you were tiny. Show how your art has grown!”

  1. From little me to me now
  2. The biggest change in my art:
  3. What I’ll be able to draw next year
  4. What will help me get there?

How to run it

  • Kids draw the way they think they drew at each age: scribbles, tadpole people, houses.
  • Ask families for an old drawing if they have one.
  • Talk about how every artist starts with scribbles.

Talk about it

  • What could you draw at 4 that you couldn’t at 2?
  • Do you remember learning to draw something?
  • What will future you be able to draw?
