What kids do

“A tiny door just appeared in the classroom wall. You open it and…”

  1. Draw the door
  2. What’s on the other side
  3. Three rules of this world

How to run it

  • Let kids decorate the door first: is it round, tiny, glowing?
  • Rules make a world feel real: no shoes allowed, animals talk on Tuesdays.
  • Turn it into a story starter.

Talk about it

  • Would you stay or come back?
  • Which rule would be hardest to follow?
  • Who might live there?

Take it further

Write the story of the first visit through the door.
