What kids do

“Fill in the first two columns before you learn. Fill in the last one after!”

  1. Our topic:
  2. Before and after
  3. Draw the most interesting thing I learned

How to run it

  • Fill the first two columns at the start of a unit.
  • Return to it at the end: cross out anything that turned out wrong.
  • Works for science, history or a book.

Talk about it

  • Which “wonder” did we answer?
  • Did anything you “knew” turn out to be wrong?
  • What do you still wonder?

Take it further

Turn leftover wonders into a research project.
