What kids do

“You get to build any treehouse you want. Plan it out!”

  1. Draw your treehouse (show the tree too!)
  2. Rooms
  3. The secret feature:

How to run it

  • Show a few real treehouse photos for ideas.
  • Ask how you get in and out: ladder, slide, zip line?
  • Older kids can add a bird’s-eye floor plan on the back.

Talk about it

  • Who is allowed in your treehouse?
  • What would you need to build it for real?
  • How would it change in winter?

Take it further

Write the treehouse rules and post them on the door.
