Teacher tip

Model a short answer first so kids know how long a share should be.

How to use it

  • Sit in a circle so everyone can see each other’s faces.
  • Keep it short: 15 to 20 minutes works for most classes.
  • Slide it into a sheet protector and use a dry-erase marker to reuse it all year.

Watch for

Kids who do not want to share. Let them pass and come back later.

Talk about it

  • What could make our meeting better tomorrow?
  • What is one thing that went well this week?

Take it further

Let kids take turns leading parts of the meeting.

US Letter, prints well in black and white. Free for home and classroom use: print as many copies as you need.
