Teacher tip

Go over the meanings once before the game, so the words are not brand new.

How to use it

  • Play a practice round first so kids learn the routine.
  • Let a student be the caller once kids know the game.
  • Let kids work with a partner so they talk through their thinking.

Watch for

Callers going too fast. Pause long enough for everyone to find the answer.

Talk about it

  • Did you solve any in your head?
  • What would you change to make it harder?
