Odd Number Path
Every odd number is part of the path; every even number is a wall. Number sense that works like a maze.
Join the dots counting 2, 4, 6 all the way to 48 and a rocket appears. Then color it in.
“Start at 2. Count by 2s and join the dots in order with a ruler or a steady hand. What did you make?”
Printed on the sheet:
Have kids count by 2s out loud before they start the dot-to-dot.
Kids crossing over the walls. Remind them that walls are solid.
Have kids draw their own maze for a friend to solve.
