Shape Drawing Challenge #2
About this video
Kevin starts with one simple shape and asks: what could this become? Then he turns it into a character, one line at a time. When the video ends, draw the same shape and turn it into something of your own. Want to go slower? The step-by-step lesson has every step as a picture, so you can draw at your own speed. This drawing comes from the Shape Drawing Challenge book, so you can keep going on paper.
How to draw along
- Get a pencil, an eraser and a few sheets of paper. Markers or crayons are fun for coloring at the end.
- Press play and watch the first step, then pause and draw it.
- Keep going one step at a time. Rewind if you miss something.
- Draw big and use light lines first, so mistakes are easy to fix.
- When you finish, color it in and give your drawing a name.
