About this video
Kevin starts with one simple shape and asks: what could this become? Then he turns it into a character, one line at a time. When the video ends, draw the same shape and turn it into something of your own. This drawing comes from the Shape Drawing Challenge book, so you can keep going on paper.
How to draw along
- Get a pencil, an eraser and a few sheets of paper. Markers or crayons are fun for coloring at the end.
- Press play and watch the first step, then pause and draw it.
- Keep going one step at a time. Rewind if you miss something.
- Draw big and use light lines first, so mistakes are easy to fix.
- When you finish, color it in and give your drawing a name.
