What kids do

“Look at the artwork. Give it two stars and one wish.”

  1. Artist:
  2. Feedback from:
  3. ★ Star 1: I like how you…
  4. ★ Star 2: I like how you…
  5. ☆ Wish: Next time, maybe you could…

How to run it

  • Model it on your own drawing first.
  • Wishes are suggestions, not orders: “maybe you could…”
  • Use it for self-feedback too.

Talk about it

  • What makes feedback useful?
  • How does it feel to get a wish?
  • Did you use someone’s wish?

Take it further

Redo a drawing using one wish and compare.
