What kids do

“Can’t decide? Weigh it up!”

  1. The choice I need to make:
  2. Option A:
  3. Option B:
  4. Draw yourself with your choice
  5. I chose… because…

How to run it

  • Start with a low-stakes class choice: what game to play at recess.
  • Some pros matter more than others; star the big ones.
  • It’s okay if the list doesn’t decide for you.

Talk about it

  • Was one pro more important than the rest?
  • Did writing it down change your mind?
  • Who could you ask for advice?

Take it further

Help a grown-up make a pros and cons list.
