What kids do

“Can you hold it? It’s a good. Does someone do it for you? It’s a service.”

  1. Tick one for each
  2. A good I use every day
  3. A service that helps my family
  4. A pizza place sells goods AND services because…

How to run it

  • Act it out: hand someone a pencil (good) vs sharpen it for them (service).
  • Some businesses do both: a restaurant cooks and serves.
  • Walk the neighborhood and spot examples.

Talk about it

  • Which service could you offer?
  • What goods are made near us?
  • Can a service become a good?

Take it further

Plan a pretend shop that sells one good and one service.
