What kids do

Printed on the sheet:

  1. Your mission: do five kind acts this week without being asked, and try not to get caught! Write each one down as you finish it.
  2. How did it feel to be a secret kindness agent?

Teacher tip

Keep it secret: kids love the spy theme. Share missions at the end of the week.

How to use it

  • Catch kids being kind and name exactly what they did.
  • Keep a kindness jar: add a pom-pom for each kind act you notice.
  • Let kids choose to share or keep their answers private. Both are fine.

Watch for

Kindness that is only for friends. Talk about being kind to people we don’t know well too.

Talk about it

  • Is it ever hard to be kind? When?
  • How might someone else see it differently?

Take it further

Write kindness notes for another class, the office staff or the custodian.

US Letter, prints well in black and white. Free for home and classroom use: print as many copies as you need.
