What kids do

“Check our plants each day. Write if you watered them, how they look and measure them on Fridays.”

Printed on the sheet:

  1. The plant looks
  2. Draw our plant today.

Teacher tip

Measure the plant each Friday and graph its growth as a class.

How to use it

  • Introduce each job and model it before kids take it on.
  • Rotate jobs on the same day each week so everyone gets a turn.
  • Slide it into a sheet protector and use a dry-erase marker to reuse it all year.

Watch for

The same kids getting the favorite jobs. Use a fair rotation.

Talk about it

  • What makes someone good at their job?
  • What is one thing that went well this week?

Take it further

Add a new job when the class finds a need, like a tech helper.

US Letter, prints well in black and white. Free for home and classroom use: print as many copies as you need.
