What kids do

“Plan one subject for the whole week: the goal for each day, the activity and what students will turn in.”

Printed on the sheet:

  1. Big goal this week:

Teacher tip

Use it for the subject you are teaching for the first time this year.

How to use it

  • Fill it in digitally or by hand, and keep a copy in your sub folder.
  • Plan a week ahead so you can gather materials in time.
  • Keep a stack of copies in a labeled tray so you can grab one without stopping the lesson.

Watch for

Plans so packed there is no room for reteaching. Leave a flex block each week.

Talk about it

  • What do I want students to learn this week?
  • Why do you think we use this in our classroom?
