What kids do

“Each row, each column and each shaded box needs ● ▲ ■ ★. Fill in the blanks!”

  1. Draw the missing shapes
  2. The first square I solved was… because…

How to run it

  • Look for a row or column with only one blank first.
  • Say it out loud: “this row has a circle and a square, so…”
  • Pencils, so mistakes can be erased.

Talk about it

  • Which square was easiest? Why?
  • How did you check your answer?
  • Could you make your own?
