What kids do

“Read the facts. Draw the Statue of Liberty. Then answer the questions.”

Printed on the sheet:

  1. The Statue of Liberty stands on Liberty Island in New York Harbor.
  2. She was a gift from the people of France. She was finished in 1886.
  3. She holds a torch in her right hand and a tablet in her left hand.
  4. Her crown has 7 points, called rays.
  5. She is made of copper. Copper turns green over time, so she changed from brown to green!

Teacher tip
