Teacher tip
Use cereal or counters as markers. Kids read the word back before they cover it.
How to use it
- Use it in a literacy center with a partner who checks the reading.
- Play it again later in the week with a different partner. Repeat play builds speed.
- Keep a sight word ring of flash cards so kids can check spellings.

Kids who read the words in order from memory. Point to words out of order to check.
