Why Tracing is a Great Way to Learn to Draw
Many young artists struggle with freehand drawing because it can feel overwhelming. Where do you start? How do you get the proportions right? That’s where tracing comes in—it provides a structure that helps kids learn shapes, lines, and composition without the frustration of starting from scratch.
By tracing cute unicorn animals in this book, kids build confidence and develop muscle memory for drawing. Over time, they’ll begin to recognize patterns in how different creatures are drawn—like the curves that make up a bunny’s ears or the flowing lines of a fox’s tail. Eventually, they’ll feel comfortable drawing their own characters without needing to trace at all!
Unleashing Imagination with Unicorn Animals
One of the most exciting parts of this book is the variety of creatures inside. It’s not just unicorns—it’s unicorn hybrids! These aren’t your typical horses with horns. In this book, kids can trace and color unicornized versions of their favorite animals, like:
🦄 Unicorn Jellyfish – A floating sea creature with magical unicorn energy!
🦄 Unicorn Kitten – A playful and mischievous unicorn feline!
🦄 Unicorn Panda – A cuddly, bamboo-loving unicorn bear!
🦄 Unicorn Squirrel – A fluffy-tailed critter with a unicorn’s charm!
🦄 Unicorn Owl – A wise and mystical creature of the night!
By combining unicorn magic with familiar animals, this book encourages imaginative thinking. Kids might even start dreaming up their own unicorn hybrids! Maybe a Unicorn Giraffe? Or a Unicorn Hedgehog? The possibilities are endless!
Why Kids & Parents Love It
Kids adore the chance to draw and color their own magical creatures, while parents love that it keeps their little ones engaged in a productive and creative activity. Tracing books like this are excellent for building confidence, helping kids learn to draw without frustration.
Plus, they make fantastic gifts for birthdays, holidays, or any time a young artist needs a fun new challenge! Whether you have a child who already loves drawing or one who wants to start, this book makes learning fun and easy.
More Than Just Tracing – A Full Art Adventure!
While tracing is a fantastic skill-building activity, this book also encourages kids to add their own personal touches. After tracing the unicorn animals, they can:
🎨 Color them in any way they want – Will the Unicorn Fox be pastel pink or bright neon blue?
✏️ Add fun backgrounds – Maybe the Unicorn Jellyfish is floating in a magical ocean with rainbow fish!
🖍️ Customize their creatures – Add extra details like wings, accessories, or even a best friend!
This helps children think creatively and see their artwork as an open-ended adventure rather than just copying a drawing.
The Perfect Activity for Any Occasion
Whether your child needs a quiet indoor activity, a fun road trip companion, or a creative exercise for school or home, “Trace Then Color: Unicorn Animals” is a great fit. It provides hours of entertainment, keeping kids engaged, learning, and having fun!
