Draw by Grid: Spooky Stuff for Halloween

Spooky season just got more creative! Draw by Grid: Spooky Stuff for Halloween is a fun and beginner-friendly drawing book that teaches kids how to draw their favorite Halloween characters using the classic grid method. With simple step-by-step instructions, children can learn how to break big, complicated drawings into smaller, easy-to-manage pieces. By the time they finish, they’ll have created their very own spooky masterpieces—just in time for Halloween!

Inside this book, kids will discover 50 different Halloween characters to draw, including:

• Witches with tall pointy hats
• Friendly yet goofy zombies
• Classic vampires with capes and fangs
• Werewolves howling at the moon
• Candy monsters with silly faces
• Mummies wrapped in bandages
• Trick-or-treaters in fun costumes
• Ghosts, goblins, and skeletons
• Jack-O’-Lanterns with glowing smiles
• …and much more!

Every page was hand-drawn by Kevin Coulston, the author and illustrator of the Art Books for Kids series, which includes more than 80 titles. None of the artwork is computer-generated or AI-created. Each drawing was carefully designed to be fun, approachable, and rewarding for kids ages 6 and up.

Why Choose the Grid Method?

The grid method is a time-tested way to learn how to draw. Instead of trying to copy a whole picture at once, kids divide it into squares and focus on one square at a time. This makes each drawing less overwhelming, easier to follow, and much more enjoyable. Along the way, children develop:

• Observation skills – noticing shapes, lines, and proportions
• Patience and focus – breaking big tasks into smaller steps
• Drawing confidence – seeing their skills improve page by page

A Perfect Halloween Activity

Draw by Grid: Spooky Stuff for Halloween makes a great seasonal activity book for kids who love to draw. It’s perfect for:

• Classroom and art projects
• Halloween parties and events
• Screen-free fun at home
• Building artistic skills while celebrating the spooky season

Kids can complete their drawings and then color them in for double the creative fun. By the end, they’ll have a whole collection of Halloween artwork that they made themselves.

Draw by Grid: Cartoon People

Draw by Grid: Cartoon People is a fun and approachable way for kids and beginners to learn how to draw cartoon-style characters using the simple and effective grid method. By breaking each drawing into manageable squares, this technique helps artists focus on one small section at a time. The result is a stress-free drawing experience that builds confidence while improving observation skills and accuracy.

Inside this book, you will find a variety of cartoon people to draw, each designed with a playful and friendly style. From silly characters and quirky personalities to everyday cartoon figures, each drawing is presented with a grid that makes it easy to recreate the artwork step by step. Whether a child is new to drawing or already loves to sketch, the grid method provides a clear path to success.

The Draw by Grid series is designed to make drawing accessible for everyone. Instead of feeling overwhelmed by a blank page, young artists can focus on copying one square at a time. This approach encourages patience, attention to detail, and steady improvement with every page completed. It is also a great way for kids to practice drawing proportions and shapes without frustration.

This book works well at home, in classrooms, during art time, or as a quiet creative activity. Kids can take their time completing each drawing and then add their own creativity by coloring and customizing the finished characters.

Inside this book you will find:

• A collection of fun cartoon people to draw using the grid method
• Easy-to-follow grid layouts that simplify the drawing process
• A relaxing and confidence-building drawing experience
• A great activity for kids, beginners, and anyone who loves cartoons
